Thank you for visiting. My name is Matt Hortman.  I am a software engineer with two decades of experience designing and building hardware and software to solve hard problems for a wide variety of engineering applications ranging in scale from embedded microcontrollers to cloud-based systems.

I also have a background in electrical engineering and I currently hold an MS in Electrical Engineering (with a minor in Computer Science) from Georgia Tech, and a BS in Engineering and a BA in Computer Science from Mercer University.
